Super Balm for Dry Skin
I have dry skin that I thought was oily for years. I had never tested the oil-over-production-from-dryness rule. But the last two weeks I've been applying this Intensive Nourish Moisture Balm to my face and neck. WHAT AN AMAZING DIFFERENCE! I'm producing less oil, which has meant less blackheads and no more reflective shine in my photos! It's like a complete complexion overhaul! I'm so grateful!
DISCONTINUED??? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???
I planned on purchasing this balm for the rest of my life it is that amazing! I use it every single day and I just learned it was discontinued and there is nothing to replace it! There are no words to express how upset and sad I am about this!!!!! After most of what I've been buying from this company has been discontinued, I am left with nothing else to do but go elsewhere. I have been with your company for a very long time and have continued to buy year after year after year and now it seems like the company is becoming more of a makeup company and it's really sad to see. I'm really sorry that it has to end this way, I'm beyond disappointed. I never thought I would say this but goodbye 100% Pure!
I have naturally oily, mildly acne-prone skin. I know that keeping acne-prone skin hydrated and even using certain oils is actually great for acne-prone and oily skin and healing it, but this makes me break out in small whiteheads. I use a small amount and try to rub it in; I say try because it is thick. I even warm it up on my fingertips and it's still too thick and sticky. The small amount I use absolutely does NOT in any way absorb into my skin. It sits on top of my skin feeling very greasy and sticky and it is difficult to apply/rub in; it has resistance to it. I'm not even sure it's all that hydrating since it is not penetrating my skin. The only things I like about it is that it is vegan and smells of lovely lavender. I might just try using this on the top of my hands and elbows when they're dry rather than on my face. By the way, I was using this in the very dry and very cold winter when my facial skin was of course more dry, and it was still all of the aforementioned. I will not repurchase and even then I am unhappy that I will be converting to using this as a very expensive hand cream just because I abhor wasting products. Overall, this product as its intended use is not worth the money.
My boyfriend and I both had oily skin with dry patches, but since using this, our faces have become more normal-- no more dry patches, no more excessive oils. A little goes a long way with this product; it took me a few tries to learn that. It helps you not over-apply if you warm some up in your hands first. In about three months or so of regular use by me and my boyfriend, we haven't even used half of the pot. I use this after my face oil and go to bed looking like a greasy mess, but wake up with the softest skin ever. I will definitely repurchase after I either run out or it expires.
This is the perfect moisturizer for your face. I have dry skin and this is the first moisturizer that doesn't leave random dry patches. It also kept my eczema from getting worse over the winter. Highly recommend!
